The sand game isn't a game about winning points or anything like that.
It's something to just have fun with if you have time. It can be addictive and time consuming.
There's different colors of 'sand' which represent different materials.
There's also materials you can draw with to manipulate the sand in different ways.
There's also others features like fire and other elements that have an effect on the different kinds of sand.
Mostly you just need to experiment with the different kinds of sand and elements to change what you want them to do. It's hard to explain, so, just play it.
The game runs on Java, as long as you're able to use the chat interface, which runs on Java, you should be able to use this game.
- The yellow blob is some kind of living creature. It's named Namekuji. It eats the blue sand (water) and grows.
- the tan colored sand is 'Sand'.
- the blue colored sand is 'Water'.
- the white colored sand is 'Salt'.
- the Brown colored sand is 'Oil'.
You may adjust the flow of the sands by the controls on the right hand side:
- PEN-size:
- TIME-speed:
- SAND:
- WATER:
- SALT:
- OIL:
- NAMEKUJI (this lets you toggle the blob MOVE, STOP and VANISH)
On the left and middle are the selections of what you want to draw or use with your mouse pointer.
- WALL - Let's you draw a grey wall with your pointer. The width is controlled by the "PEN-size".
- FIRE - Let's you start a fire where the pointer is. The fire will burn green material and OIL. Actually, it burns almost anything.
- WATER - Let's you grow PLANT material.
- PLANT - Let's you place PLANT material where you want and WATER helps it grow. Fire will burn PLANT material.
- SAND - Let's you place SAND where you want and doesn't do much but it makes a barrier for some instantances.
- SPOUT - Let's you place sources where WATER will come out of without your pointer being there all the time.
- CERA (WAX) - Let's you place wax where you want. Fire will melt and burn wax.
- ??? - Let's you start some weird massic reaction that mostly clears the screen. Very neat visually.
- OIL - Let's you place OIL where you mouse pointer is.
- ERASER - That's fairly simple, it erases.
- SALT - Let's you place SALT where the mouse pointer is. SALT is corrosive and harmful to the blob.
That's more information than was provided to me when I first saw it, so enjoy "Sand".
