Allow me to introduce myself, I am WiccanVixen, the owner and primary founder of the Ghosthunters-Chat or IRC channel #ghost hunters. I hope your stay with us is not only enjoyable and enlightening, but something you will look back on with a smile, and perhaps revisit.
To give you a little background on myself, I have owned this chatroom for a little over five years. My background as you might guess, is that of a witch. I have been a practicing witch for almost 30 years now, and every day I learn something new. I try to respect everyone as I would wish to be respected, and I believe that all people, have their reasons for being the way they are. I am the single mother of two children, (actually teenagers) and also the Founder of my own Paranormal Investigation Team .
The chat, is Non Profit. My staff, is not a paid staff, they are all volunteer, and most of them have been with me for MANY years. We have an incredible mixture of cultures and personalities in the chat, including the staff. The backgrounds include tenured Paranormal Investigators, and approaches to investigating that cross the board as far as technique. Every person has a different style and opinion..but NO one will take on the responsibility of telling you whether your house is haunted or not..we will suggest different approaches, and even perhaps recommend a team to contact, but I would like it to be clear that we cannot investigate your home via the internet and a conversation, we can only make educated guesses, and many times, people are not open to what those guesses are. WE do seek to debunk first and formost, and will work with anyone to try to calm an atmoshere, or get you to someone who can help you with that.
I have experts in several areas working in my chat, several photographic debunkers, several incredible audio people, people who work with psychics, people who are psychic, people who are strictly technical, and religious and cultural beliefs from around the world. IF we do not know an answer, we will do our best to find it.
On a separate note, this chat is also a general chat room..many who visit us come in for advice, and make a home with us. WE LOVE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS!! Feel free to join any topic that is being talked about, or start your own topic. You will find the staff to be warm, friendly and funny.
